Entering Canada

U.S. citizens must show either a U.S. passport or other proof of U.S. citizenship – such as an original or certified birth certificate together with photo identification. U.S. citizens entering Canada from a third country must have a valid passport. Mexican citizens must show a valid passport for entry into Canada.

Travelling from the airport to the Westin Ottawa

• Shuttle Bus - The YOW Airporter shuttle service departs from the airport 25 minutes after and 5 minutes to the hour, every hour. One way and round-trip tickets can be purchased at the Ottawa Airport ticket booth located in the Arrivals terminal (ground floor). Fares for a one-way trip are $14.00 CAD, groups of 3 or more are $8.00 CAD each.
  
• Taxi Services - Taxi’s are available outside the Arrivals terminal with a fare of approximately $25.00 CAD to the Westin Ottawa.

Accommodations

The annual meeting will be held at The Westin Ottawa, located in the heart of the city. The Westin Ottawa’s 495 spacious guest rooms and suites offer vantage points for spectacular views of the Rideau Canal, Byward Market and walking distance from Parliament Hill. The location of this hotel will provide participants an opportunity to explore the many historical and cultural elements of Ottawa.

Weather

September is a beautiful time to visit Ottawa with an average of 14° C (57º F), a high of 20° C (68 º F ) and a low of 9° C (48 º F). The changing colour of the leaves in autumn will provide a spectacular backdrop to this year’s annual meeting.
