Costs and Financial Support
- $3,500 (CAN$) stipend for exchanges to Mexico and the United States
- 4,000 (CAN$) stipend for exchanges to Italy, Germany, UK
Selected Canadian students pay their tuition fees at their home university before leaving for the exchange. Note that students are not required to pay foreign tuition fees.
During your time abroad, you will be responsible for costs relating to but not limited to:
- Airfare
- Transportation to and from host university campus.
- Room and board.
Note that host universities will provide assistance in finding accommodation, but ultimately it is your responsibility.
- Health insurance, passport renewal and visa costs, where applicable.
- Textbooks
- Personal expenses
An important consideration to note is the stipend is intended to help offset a portion of the costs incurred by traveling and living abroad, and is not meant to cover all expenses. You must ensure you have sufficient funding to cover additional living/travelling expenses. |
