2009 SOCIAL ECONOMY PROGRESSIVE DINNER & BUS TOUR
WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2009
5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Cost: $50.00 per person before May 15, 2009 or
$60.00 per person after May 16, 2009

Learn about and experience the products and services developed by Ottawa/Gatineau’s most creative and innovative social enterprises. This bus tour takes you on a progressive dinner to local enterprises and provides you with information on more than 20 organizations committed to the local social economy.

Schedule:

5:15 p.m.

Bus leaves Carleton University

6:30 p.m.

Reception, appetizers and Social Enterprises mini-trade show at local social enterprise Ottawa Family Services

6:45 p.m.

Main course dinner at long-time Ottawa social enterprise Causeway Work Centre including roving dinner companions from local social enterprises. Dinner catered by Krackers Catering another well known Ottawa social enterprise.

8:30 p.m.

Dessert and coffee at Depanneur Sylvestre a Gatineau social enterprise with short presentations in both English and French from local social enterprises.

10:00 p.m.

Bus returns to Carleton University.
