Centre for Urban Research and Education
The Centre for Urban Research and Education (CURE) brings together researchers from a wide range of disciplines who share an interest in municipal and urban affairs. With diverse experience, expertise, and perspectives, the CURE network carries out collaborative research in areas including community governance, citizen engagement, and local capacity building around planning for infrastructure to support social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
The CURE network was initiated by the Faculty of Public Affairs of Carleton University. Dr. Christopher Stoney, Associate Professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration, is the CURE network lead and can be reached at cstoney@connect.carleton.ca
